Our Verification Process

1. Proof of Identity. You will need to submit a digital copy of their government ID (passport, REAL ID or driver’s license), as well as a selfie of you holding up your ID, clearly showing that your face matches the photo.

2. Employment Verification. You will need to do one of the following: (a) Send us an email from your work email account, (b) Send us a DM from your LinkedIn account, or (c) Send us a picture of your business card, with your name clearly matching that on your ID. If you are not currently employed, please contact us for alternative verification methods.

We observe a strict privacy policy, and the success of our business depends on our ability to operate discreetly and confidentially. Many of our members are high-profile individuals in the fields of business, entertainment and politics. We will not contact your employer, nor will we share your information with any third parties. Your information will be used for verification only.

Based on the information provided to us, we will run a discreet background check to see if you have been blacklisted for abusive or inappropriate conduct in any of our provider databases.

If you have previously been blacklisted, and wish to avoid embarrassment, we advise that you do not apply for membership at Sonata.

We regret that we do not accept references from other providers as a verification method. We also do not participate in any online review platforms and we do not accept these as verification. However, we are happy to provide references to our members.
